Hi to all ,my name is John Laws a machine designer and builder in the tattoo trade here in New Zealand. Tattooing has been a large part of my life as I started out in Christchurch with a hand made machine from a telephone bell the type you would find at the back door of say a large building. I pulled the buzz bell apart rewraped the coils and put a new spring set up on it plus a larger armature bar and last of all a tube clamp.That was the machine already to go but next was where to find the power supply to run the machine.
